by the way, why do you have a "feeling" it will be back?
well it wasn't renewed or canceled. nbc is appears to be taking a wait and see
attitude. i just hope they realize the show is very good and is getting better
and give it a chance (and a better night) to find viewers. this show may have
done better on a friday night since it is sorta sci-fi adventure show.
i`ll be glad to see the back of journeyman, i`m surprised that this steaming
pile of faeces lasted this long. it should of been cancelled ages ago as should
of the unit as well.

if u think its crap why u keep watching it till now ๐
hope it comes back, its a really great show.. compared to private practice
which is as bad as superbad.

journeyman is by the way one of the good series that was introduced this year if
you ask me.

i saw the first episode and gave it up after that as i thought it was/is a
confused mess and a quantum leap wanna be.
thats why nobody is watching as it took 3-4 episodes to start making sense and
the story to start taking off, now the only people watching it are people who
watched it from the first episode it is just to confusing to start watching it
now which is a shame because it is now one of my weekly shows i cant wait to watch.
there was a deadline where nbc would have had to contact the producers/cast/etc.
with some sort of decision, basically renewing their contracts for future work
at the very least. that deadline came and went with essentially no word from nbc
whatsoever. translation: they basically let everyone know by not contacting them
that their services would no longer be required. i've heard nothing official yet
but that would mean that the cast and crew are free to find other work thanks to
nbc's decision not to make a formal decision. at least a back order of nine
episodes would have given it some hope. without that, sadly it's dead.
ratings for monday's episode were the lowest yet. nbc had stated that the
previous two episodes had been the deciding point for nbc. if it had done better
in the ratings then it might have had a chance. i love the show too but it's not
coming back.
the producer of the show said the show has not been canceled and not renewed
and it may come back and it may not. simple as that. the writers strike made a
mess of things also.
topic change.
the ending of this episode was soooooooo awesome! gave me goose bumps.
would love to say more but i do not want to spoil it for others.
this feels just like the old "john doe" show. it was a similar show in both
story and delivery. it got canceled before they finished it, just left it hanging.
they start off with lots of confusion and strange events... lots of build up and
just as the whole thing starts to come together and get really interesting, it
gets canceled.
hope that's not the case with this show but it sure feels like it.
"journeyman" has gotten so much better in the last few episodes. i was skeptical
about it at first, but i like kevin mckidd (from "rome") and kept watching the
show for that reason. i realized it really was quite good about halfway through
the 13-episode run, when i couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.
it is a much more realistic and interesting portrayal of time-travel, which i
appreciate. more scifi shows needs to be heard about.
if it doesn't get renewed, it will be such a shame. but i (and countless others)
will buy the dvd set and complain to nbc about it too.
personally, i think "journeyman" is one of the top few great shows that came out
of the 2007-2008 tv season (others include: "pushing daisies", "life", "reaper").
