next episode is january the 4th. it's on a few day later in the uk and
canada, like it is now. so no getting episodes from canada earlier than the us
like last season.
been downloading atlantis for a long time and have never taken the time to say
thank you,for the quality of the download and the speed with which you get
stuff up.
you are the best part of my saturday morning, thank you again from toronto.
i've just watched this episode.
great story but the encoding of the video could have been much better.
i see strong digital effects/morray effects with everything that has strips and
bars. when there's a shot with a computer screen in it everything is unreadable
or better said i have a hard time seeing that there are letters on the display.
many episodes of sga don't have those effects even though they are all around 350mb.
gspot gave me this info.
video :
xvid 1.2 smp
624 x 352 @ 996kbs
audio :
48000hz 128 kb/s tot , joint stereo lame3.96r
while scanning i saw the video kbs drop below 900kbs several times.
i've scanned older sga releases by other groups and they all have a higher max
kbs videostream peaking over 1200kbs but this release never goes higher than
1100kbs.
i hope a better version will be released soon by another group.
btw i've watched this episode on a 1280x1024 screensize on a crt monitor.

what the hell? don't clutter up the comments with useful information like this,
jesus.. just say "thanks from 'whocares'" and complain like a gonk when everyone
tells you to stfu !
jesus, the audacity of posting detailed and relative information... we're doomed..
..... oo
so, it seems there have been a few quality probs with a few of the recent sga's
- i noticed one of the previous ones seemed like a vhs copy. ouch.. still, i
don't watch them at such high res, so i'll suffer it..

cheers for the info !
at least you don't have 20 pages to read with 'useful' info of where everybody
lives on this mudball called earth. 😛
and i know we are missing a sarcasm smiley/sign...hehehehe...:d
i've switched down the resolution of that monitor to 1024x768 to see if the
morray effects disappeared but even then i can see them.
all a higher resolution does with these 350mb releases is become a bit more
blurred but this release has some additional problems as posted by me earlier.
these problems mainly occur when the kbs is too low when encoding them. a bit
more kbs and they would have been gone.
so far only the 0tv releases are looking crappy but the other releases of sga
are good quality to watch on a 1028x1024 resolution.
ahhh well..a few more days and a hd release will be available.
