 i'm afraid though, that the joke will be lost to all but aussies! isn't it funny how commercials can become a part of everyday life. i use the same saying just like the toyota ad (bugger), even though it was in use way before the ad came out. |

as a lazy newcomer, have you done the marmite vs. vegemite debate? marmite's foul. can't speak to vegemite, one of my sisters' ridgebacks got into a jar. a few hours later he crashed through the back door, howled like a yeti and stunk up the lawn. no way am i going near that stuff. |

what a pisser! i can see why you wouldn't try vegemite. but just to set the record straight, i think marmite is a little less salty than vegemite. and promite is less again. in comparison, i would even class them as sweeter. (but not chocolate sweet, if you know what i mean :s) quick! someone jump in. this is getting worse and worse :s |

thanks for the clarification. i had a shed load of fun on 'lost 409', and i'm currently having a rocking good time, but that said i don't like to assume. cheers. edit: i do tend to over compensate when i've had one to many. *dons gimp mask* i'm going to the cellar now... this might take a while. |

hi numaris, thanks for my inclusion in the hall of shame. as you may have noticed i do tend to lurch wildly from "lightening the tone" to "going off on one". i also, occasionally, display a talent for digging myself into holes that i can't climb out of. whether or not these traits are drink related? toss a coin. no disrespect intended to the aussie contingent with the "neighbours" crack, i can't abide bloody soaps either. |
