yeah, the reviews are 100% correct...

alan cumming and zooey deschanel are good actors. not sure why they agreed to
this series...

the direction is horrific. it would be good for humanity that this director not
work in film or tv again. the whole production is overblown, overstated, and
lacking any true reactions, emotion or sentiment. the editing is clumsy,
obtrusive, and amateur. the music and sound mixing is amateur. the
cinematography is terrible. the script seems to be written by a child.

the rest of the actors are also not great, some better than others, but since
the direction and the dialogue is so bad, it doesn't really matter anyway.

the production design is quite good. that's pretty much the only good thing in
the show.

another scifi channel classic screw-up. too much money burned in the wrong areas
of production, as always. start with the cheapest area -- good writing -- and
keep production simple... not so difficult, but they never do. never.

comparde to flash gordon, this show is 100 times better.
given the fact that flash is complete rubbushm above statement might not say
much?
however i watched the first episod and have no regrets watching it.
actually i will watch next episode also!
so worth seeing as long as you don't expect to much

sci-fi channel mini-series & one off movie productions nearly all have the
same dismal whiff of failure about them.

about the only ones i've ever even halfway liked were the lost room and dune.
all the others i've seen have been universally godawful.

what? all i saw was expressionless, childlike, amateurish pap. how these fools
are still finding work is a mystery. and i'm obviously not the only one who
thinks so, part 2 was supposed to air yesterday, but noone bothered to upload
it anywhere on the net, so don't hold your breath for part 3 and 4.

i haven't watched this... but part 2 and 3 are in plenty of places, by this same
(non-scene) ripper.
also - it's a 3 part mini-series - there is no part 4.

i don't get why everyone is trashing this show. i thought it was great! the
actings good enough and the cgi's not bad either... it's way better than flash
gordon imo...

no they aren't. i've searched all the usual places and googled for it. they're
nowhere to be found... ☹️

tvtorrents has them in hdtv non-scene formats. haven't checked yet.

sorry - yeah.... sys did a scene hdtv rip of at least part 1, and 'h' did a
non-scene rip of them all. forgot that this post was the crappy dsr rip.....
seriously, why do people bother with dsr rips when there are superior quality
hdtv rips available at the same file size!?

yeah - i'd really like to see parts 2 and 3. the only links i've found have
involved private trackers. anyone?

i missed seeing part 3 and having seen this one on here thought for sure part 2
and 3 would be here as well. i tried very hard to not miss its airings however
having unusual work and sleep cycles i ended up falling asleep during the 1st of
the three time slots. i rather hoped i could stay awake during the 2nd or 3rd
after sleeping during the 1st. i was rather disapointed that i couldn't and now
find myself even more disapointed in not seeing it posted here. i hope that they
are available somewhere else in high quality. i tend to avoid other sources
because they are typically lacking in quality.
