Stargate Atlantis S04E08 HDTV XviD-2HD

hi, i get this hd version every week with no probs, but this one won't open
with the windows media player!

i'm running it through virtualdub and it says reconstructing missing block
index! i'm having to recompress it again, but at least it's playable now.

tried it, too. but now it's having massive audio glitches. any clue...?

it was propably captured that way from the tv signal

bad avi header means bad encoding, this has nothing to do with the way it is
captured. out of sync audio could be a bad capture, but probably isn't either.

i'm really sick and tired of these amateuristic cappers who screw up all the
time. i hope there will be a proper soon, but it shouldn't be necessary at all
if they would check the file for once instead of trying to save minutes to be
the first uploader.

it plays fine in vlc (and other players which can re-index the video).
however i'd also like to note, that the quality seems somewhat poorer than the
usual hd releases.

repack reason: other one had header issues. not sure wtf happened. but
remember we warned you of issues.

sfm is much better...they should be riping sga in hd!

haha, nice one. sounds a 'lil childish though. like "me i did't do anything
wrong, it's all your fault". 2nd time 2hd did a repack excatly due to bad header.

personally i'm greatful for those who take their time to encode and share shows.
having gone through the process myself to archive old vhs recordings to prevent
future degradation due to watching the tapes i know what its like. i think its
sad that anyone would belittle (not sure if thats the right word i'm looking
for) those who supply the episodes. its sort of like shooting yourself in the
foot because it itches instead of scratching it. of course i'm not saying don't
bring problems to attention just be kind when going about it. p2p sharing is a
two way street, you could say treat others the way you want to be treated.
unless you like being treated like dirt then its probably best to stay quiet.

with that said, i use vlc to play video on my pc. so other than the repair so
that the file plays in other players is there anything different with the
repacked copy?

however repack, there's a problem between 6min56->7min02
(i noticed 1 sentence missing compared to dsr)...

does anybody know where s04e09 is?? the status is
