kinda ot, a question to eztv-staff:

why this internal from ctu instead of the smallville.s07e08.720p.hdtv.x264-nbs?
i dun get it, pls enlight me. thx.

nbs was nuked imo, glitches and slighty oos 3/4 of the episode

u can find ep 7 nbs on mininova.. however there's an internal release for that
too which i haven't seen on a public tracker

words were not in sinc in this version

because it was released as an internal before it was known the nbs one was
junk. if it was known it would have been released as a proper instead.

trust me it is a huge pain in the arse to download every 1.1 gig scene release
and then scan the file before you release yours. so most of the time
you need someone who has watched it from start to finish to pm the group
and let them know it is hosed or get lucky enough that some site ops
watched it and nuked it. the problem is this may be hours too late.

ctu internal because they max out x264 settings which takes encoding
time almost double what everyone else settings take. ctu has won 80%
of the releases so far this year and the rest if they lose they stop
and then change settings to max and release an internal. (or
if they know they can not win before hand because of pre air show they
just do it from the get go with max settings and internal it)
