Dexter S02E07 HDTV XviD-NoTV

i have to say this is probably one of the best, if not the best, shows out
there. big thanks to eztv for uploading!

notv fucked up!!

i'm trying to unpack this "dexter" episode (can't watch it as is, on my dvd
player) with mpeg modifier v1.4.4 as i do frequantly. but today, this utility
stops and declare that:
"this is not a valid mpeg 4 video (startcode not found at beginning of frame)
code: xvid."

this happens only with the notv files. what kind of dumb encoder are they
using and who needs that "packed bitstream" at all...

any idea how to unpack this episodes?

mpeg4 modifier lets you unpack a bitstream without reencoding.

i haven't checked yet, is it really a packed bitstream? that violates scene
rules doesn't it?

as i wrote before, i'm using mpeg modifier 1.4.4 (latest version), but the
file is fucked up! so, mpeg modifier won't load the file at all...

and yes, most of the avi files at the scene are bitstream packed. why? your
guess is as good as mine. xor are the only group that don't use it.

trust me the next few epsiodes are pure gold, dexter is god

its sad that hr releassa re dryin up on eztv. they are around on some private
trackers though.....

there is a problem with this file and every copy i have found of it... after
converting to mpg, it freezes at the school scene in the mpg version.

yes i can watch the avi version just fine.. but when trying to make a dvd, it
freezes in same spot.. and i have gotten several versions (3) of the notv of
various sizes to try and get a good copy.. all bad.. same spot. i use a program
called avidemux for conversion, and never had a problem like this til now.

i wish someone would make a s207.fixed.avi from scratch.
