Tina Fey joins picket line

i would have thought it more surprising if tina fey did not join the picket line.

wasn't she at one time the head writer for snl?
and isn't she a main writer on 30 rock?

right. this is why it's not news. she's a showrunner, but also a writer. as
such, it's expected that she strikes. i believe that by crossing picket lines
she would be endangering her guild membership.

i think it was also that she works on a show which is about making television
and the strike would make a great plotline for them, if they had anyone to
write the script...

news is news. whether you like it or not =)

it's pretty cool that she's out there showing support for her fellow writers,
i'm sure the experience is worth some material at least. it'd be funny if
donaghy replaced lemon's writers with "scabs" that looked just like the originals.

that would be funny as hell!
