aren't you just contradicting your own post? not to mention a long, senseless
rant with very little substance. i like the fact there are references to
other shows on these posts so i can broaden my choices and check something out
that i normally would've passed over.

i'm just trying to preempt 50 "thank you from ..." posts. if you noticed, i was
quoting someone else. i don't mind if people have a conversation or even thank
eztv, as long as they write out a thoughtful post instead of the same rehashed
spam over and over.

btw, this release if fine as far as i noticed, and i did watch the whole thing.

i agree with rocky500 and this release seems fine to me also (nice not to have
to go through pages looking for a quality report)

and yeah, let's face it, i would imagine that most people only check these
threads to see if there's any problems with the file. saying thanks is nice
and all, but saying what the quality of the release file is like is actually
helpful.

besides, personally i give my thanks by seeding... 🙂

oh yes...it's such a hassle to scroll through people's gratitude and small
comments...i can't take this monumental effort. mommy!!!!

sg1... the first few seasons...
where their wasnt a large overall story line... its just 1 story to just this
ep...
yes replicators and wraith are going at it in the background... but theirs no
plot line at the moment... where it effects the whole season.,..

true... i won't thank notv for the release, nor for the report in this
post or in the future, cause the thank you is and will be obvious. 🙂

so now wouldn't it be better to apply what rocky500 asked us to do?

if anything is wrong or if everything is ok with the releases, a few posts
should be enough for all of us, otherwise don't start arguing... or continue it,
as i see it already has started! pls!

sound quality is poor, picture quality is average. shame there are no hdtv 350mb
rips appearing as opposed to full hdtv rips.

well you can always ring up scifi and complain that they dont show it in hdtv
and that its ruining your experience in illegally downloading the show from
the
internet.

there are from canada...all you have to do is wait to monday and you will have
an hd rip instead of dsr.

gldmadmax: saying "sound quality is poor, picture quality is average" is going
overboard !! may not be as good as a hdtv rip but the video and audio quality
are still perfectly acceptable (especially if you can't wait to watch it). if
you want the best quality hold off for a 720p x264 version.

i couldn't agree with you more howey.

there's no problem with people wanting the greatest video and audio quality that
they can get. however, the type of files that will be offered first are the
lower quality ones, mainly for people such as myself don't have to wait very
long to watch the episode.

then usually the next version that will be released would be the high quality
episodes. from what i have seen, is normally not too long a wait in terms of days 🙂

in a way, this method gives the people from what they saw entertainment wise, a
choice of whether they wanted to proceed and download the high quality version
or are satisfied enough with what they have 🙂

for example, i am perfectly happy with viewing the stargate atlantis episodes
that are 350mb, because eventually i would buy the entire season on dvd anyway
(which i have seasons 1-3). plus this saves just a little bit more data from my
monthly download limit being used up.

actually i think they were deliberately playing with the visual look of this
ep and i thought the sound was fine playing it on my pc, especially as i just
can't wait the extra days for the higher quality versions!
