Eliza Dushku and Joss Whedon in a new Fox show!

cool..good news..in the death throes of buffy i actually enjoyed eliza more
than sarah-michelle..(maybe she'd been doing it so long she got boring).
good to see her back on the tube , used to watch her on tru calling till that
bit the dust.

cancelled after 3 episodes.

intriguing concept, but this is the fox network we're talking about. a fox
network mid-season replacement. i'll probably watch it, though...

joss whedon & tim minear making tv again - fantastic 🙂

why joss?!?! whyyyyy???!

fox will never give you a full season of something! it's like when lucy tries to
get charlie brown to kick the football; they take delight in canceling your shows!

*sighs* ...maybe someday you'll learn to ignore the football/ tv show offer.
then you can move on to bigger and better things. seriously. you don't need fox.

ahh this show actually sounds good.
too bad fox is gonna cancel it.

joss has so much on his plate right now. i hope he's not gonna choke on it. i'll
be watching and reading every last bit of it though.

him teaming up with eliza and tim; dream come tru anyone?

i wonder whether it will somehow connect to the firefly-verse? could echo be the
first in a long line of special projects that leads to river?

sounds a little like the pretender or what jarod would have been if he hadn't
escaped and he'd been kept under control.

i'm glad both eliza and joss are doing new work but have agree with a lot of the
earlier sentiments... why oh why, fox!! it's like do i bother looking forward to
it at all considering it's almost certain to be cancelled.

well the sooner fox do ditch this the better. nothing against eliza but we
really don't need anymore misogynistic junk from whedon. yes seasons 1-5 of
buffy were great but after that the man just lost his marbles and trashed the
show, really don't need to go through that again.

i agree with you there! it seems that joss didnt give a damn about buffy after
it went from thewb to ...

the budget was cut in season 7. so, other than a few suprising deaths, and a
good villian...it sucked.

btvs was great, and although i loved faith, ed cannot play convincing varied
roles - she just can't. the sun is hot. water is wet. eliza dushku is a one
trick pony.

still, will be interesting to watch this matrix-esque type show because jw does
write some zingy scripts 🙂
