man i love this show, but it's one of those ones that is *so* difficult for me
to watch continuously sometimes; the ability of this show to make you squirm
with discomfort at the embarrassing situations that go on is absolutely legendary.

you think curb is bad? you should try ricky gervais's series, extras.

it\'s ten times worse in the squirm factor.
totally agree, it\'s much worse. i literally have to frequently pause it. my
favoirte one is patrick stewart as the total perv:
ps:so in my film, i play a man who controls the world with his mind.
andy:right. oh, that\'s interesting.
ps:yeah. for instance, i\'m walking along, and i see this beautiful girl, and i
think i\'d like to see her naked, and so all her clothes fall off.
andy:all her - clothes fall off?
ps:yes, and she\'s scrabbling around to get them back on again, but even before
she can get her knickers on, i\'ve seen everything. yeah. i\'ve seen it all.
"curb" is great but agree re extras. patrick stewart was good but the samuel l
jackson ep still makes me squirm, particularly when she "loved him in the
matrix" lol
i think extras is a lot better than the office - the office is just a complete
rip off of "operation good guys" the police comedy series which i think stephen
merchant had a hand in, but i'm not too sure of that. they just moved from
police to office and thats it, the jokes are very similar - almost identical,
like they were modified o fit into an office. i dont think it was shown in the
us, but its sometimes repeated here in the uk.
however, i just think larry david is a lot better an actor, and i just think
curb is the best comedy programme i've seen for years, however much you guys
like gervais and co, this is my favourite show on tv right now. 😉
