"i'm deep and serious" look into the camera...bloomin' magicians 😉

talents? mentalists? are us normal people supposed to have any idea what that
means? i assume it is some magician competition reality show, guessing purely
from the goofy guy in the photo trying to look all mysterious. a bit more
description on the info page would be nice. some of us are too lazy to search
off-site to find out what a show is about. :d

i am an idiot

for me it pretty much ended in b/w the end of the first performance and the
beginning of the second performance. i skipped to each performance's intro
then and gave each one a shot... but i have to say; boring!

anyways... anyone watch chris angel? i saw mind freak dvds here the other day
and was thinking of buying it, but haven't heard anyone talk about it so
decided not to. what do you think?

i was never familiar with chris angel...but is it just me but does he visit a
plastic surgeon a lot?...he just seems to have that plastic face. personally i
won't waste my time with this s h and one t again...i stupidly watched the whole
thing and was wishing the nail gun trick failed...where's a god when u need em! ;p

in england, mentalist is another word for nutter...

as for criss angel's mindfreak shows, i've seen quite a few, and he's actually
quite good, if you believe that there's no camera trickery. but he is so full of
himself, and the shows are full of his 'team' telling him the main stunt he's
leading up to each episode is sooo dangerous there's no way he should do it - it
gets a bit daft, really. y'know, if you're gonna do a trick, okay, give it some
build-up but, please, not the same bullshit routine every week. they even roll
out his girlfriend and his mum (!) on occasion.

uri geller is a con artist, charlatan, and a real scumbag. his name on this
was reason enough for me not to watch it. it would be like watching a gary
glitter children's christmas special.

what jeff said. uri geller is not a selling point; hes famed for trying to con
people and then attacking them in the courts for showing hes a con artist.

arghh ! this sounds awful .. wont even bother looking at it.

competing mentalists? lol

gee thanks! i guess i'll save the dough i was thinkin' of spendin' on mind
freak and buy somethin' else.

i wonder... was the audience paid to sit through the whole thing?!?!? 😉

i wrote nbc asking why they would give a proven fraud a tv show.
i doubt i'll ever get a reply

"the amazing" james randi proved that uri is a fraud 20 or more years ago.

as for angel...when his show first aired i gave him a chance. he was on the
street and asked a group of "strangers" to take a large garbage container,
turn it upside down and cover him with it. they covered him and held the
container down. i lost all interest when the "continuous" shot was switched to
another camera and then miraculously criss appeared on top of a building next
to the group holding down the container.
if it had to be one long shot, i'd probnably still be watching him.

two idiots being watched by millions more.
let's hope the show doesn't last.
we might get a decent replacement.

a few words of warning. this is bad.
but as always thanks for the upload.

i love a good magic show so the concept i guess is ok (even though i hate the
whole reality / contest <insert country here> idol type shows). the reality of
it is, is magic / illusionist / mentalists (wtf???) never translates well to
tv, its just doesn't.

and it definitely doesn't here either.

as most of the others have said, thanks for the upload and i'll seed it but
won't be dling again. if you have limited bandwidth... save it for something good.
