well maybe they should... so things like this would not happen.

according to gspot the avi file header is corrupt. to fix the error open the
file in virtualdub, this will rebuild the damaged file header. set it to direct
stream copy under the video menu. then go to file > save as

job done!

the file may be a bit sluggish fast forwarding...but at least it plays!

but what if it was a bunch of rar files, and the rar header was corrupt. then
what would we do?

just asking to point out how much of a dickhead the op (reasons not to unrar) was...

thanks for the tip scuz. i was concern gspot was not able to give info while vlc
was playing well except a flicker in the status bar (quite annoying).

not first time a disagreement about rar files. in fact when encounter these rar
files (a set of it) it means they are coming directly from a user group and that
they should be lest corrupted. i never encounter a fake on a usergroup.

this happened too but then i put it in fullscreen which worked fine.

it played ok in gomplayer too - so it works, even without the virtualdub
tweaking.

re. rar files - i\'ve downloaded blood ties in rar and it worked fine - but
after just being bitten (hee!) by a rar version of \'30 days of
night\' (passworded rar: no password supplied) i don\'t think i\'d risk it
again.

you are right arjumand about rar file pasworded. i have been cheated also a few
time. i am talking about set (25 to 50 for 350-700 meg) of rar files all the
same size. those are the same you can download from a usergroup. fake are
usually for recent movies and posted by either porn site or the mpaa.

i guess "assets" from the first message is a troll from mpaa

actually "assets" was right. it doesn't have anything to do w/rar'ed or not. the

eztv needs to stop sharing thier shows as 90% are bad.

yeah and xor is 100% bad. the 2hd file plays fine, audio is synched with the
video, so u cant ff thru it, big fucking deal.

hmmm i'm also unable to see it, only sound plays!

repack: ok spoke too soon, the other rls while technically free of
skips, glitches, dropouts, missing footage, somehow had a corrupt
avi header which made for some problems on standalones and scanning
through the file. since we know how much of a pain this is and because
we don't hide our mistakes. we've fixed it so now you can scan through it
with ease.

if you don't want to archive this or keep it and already watched
the nonrepacked version, then no need to download this repack.

this stupid show is cursed either that or i was too drunk at 4am
eastern when we pred. your pick!
