Dexter S02E04 720p HDTV x264-CTU

can anyone pm me and tell me if most of the hdtv avi's on here at gmc divx?

i am trying to buy a media player and most won't play divx that are encoded with
gmc....

and i have no idea what that mean, so i could use some help!

does anyone know any media players that will play mkv files?

teamneedle, i always use media player classic, eats mkv's for breakfast.

none that i know of are to the market yet that have proper support for mkv's as
well as h/x264. however a htpc can be built to do it infinitely better anyhow
and for about the same cash. just some careful choice of hardware is all thats
needed. (i'd be happy to share a design etc via email/im).

question for everyone:

does anyone here have or know where i can find a proper sized copy of ep 202 in
720p? the only one i've found is by sitv and it's 1.43gb instead of the usual
1.07gb. needless to say this kinda screws up things when anyone tries to
archive the episodes onto dvds ☹️

i`m totally hooked up on the 720p with ac3 5.1...

please just figure out to set up your system. i`m watching this series on a 22"
fsc tft right in front of my bed hooked up to a usb creative labs spdif
connection to my sony receiver with surround sound...

think your out of luck on the 1.07 gig size on 2x02 unless someone releases one
later. all i see out there, including on usenet, is the sitv one, smaller rips,
and the strait streams.

argh! that sucks monkey balls!
