yup, a big nuke at 11:41. i don't think it is actually possible for xor to make
a release that doesn't get nuked ^_^ are there any other groups that want to
take desperate housewives off of xors hands? because i am seriously getting
pretty fuckin' sick and tired of having to redownload my episodes. it breaks up
the whole flow of things, when the show has downloaded i sit down with my
popcorn and jim beam, make myself really comfortable and then watch the show.
imagine my surprise when i find that all my favourite shows are now all glitched
and scrambled.
what is really surprising is how they even managed to mess this one up. 11:41

some people who have traffic caps placed on them by their isp and who use rss
feeds to auto download shows have every right to be annoyed by such
occurrences. i don't have any traffic limitations with my isp, nor did the
couple of minor glitches prevent me from enjoying the episode; but i do side
with those who originally complained about the xor release.

there are thousands of seeds within minutes of a popular release, now why do you
think this is? first there is rss and second, this is stuff that people eagerly
await cuz only a small part of the world can view these shows on tv, so don't
start that 'nobody forces you do download stuff right away' cuz that is a pretty
lame argument and its even lamer that you gotta result into flaming tvfan. if
speed didnt matter at all we wouldnt have all these crap releases from xor
latety, but it does matter... and even if there are decent groups to do great

and we get propers from more rare groups a lot later... so this fucks up ppl's

1. if i asked how the quality was, you would have said "stop whining and test it
for yourself"
2. if i do not see my stories, i will expire. i need my stories!!!
3. trust me, if i could capture the shows myself i would. xor have built
themselves a reputation of messing up most of their releases, i couldn't
possibly do any worse than xor 😉

for once i'm also pissed about this nuke. when i got up in the morning this one
was released and i thought it's better not to download and see if somebody
complains about the quality and if a proper is released. i came hoe only minor
issues were addressed and no proper was out, so i downloaded it only to notice
that a chunk of dialog seems to be missing. still watchable but annoying.
usually if somethings up - especially with a popular like this - the complains
are soon and in big numbers, but with this there wasn't. funny really, that's
one of the main features of this board to inform others to back off and wait but
apparently so many people whined about justified critic that not even that will
happen anymore.
i still love eztv, it's till a great site and most torrents are great but right
now i think that something's moving in the wrong direction (xor actually) and it
causes problems and not just because of of poor quality releases but because of
the discussions and flaming involved which are actually even worse.
i don't live in the us so i can't cap them, i have a traffic limit with my isp,
therefore i try to wait as long as possible. and yes it is a fine service to
make the torrents available to everybody, but if this means to have to live with
worsening quality the torrent scene that i was fond of will vanish soon and the
industry will be very happy again.
