i like this show.... but (and it is a big one) the pre air premise with all the
family dynamics gave promise to a much much better show with a lot more charm
and possibilities.
now only a few episodes in and it is already pretty repetitive, plug in escaped
demon, vessel and capture... stir in some special effects, teen age love angst
script is done....
the pre-air had me nicely hooked, but so far they're not really keeping me
interested. i genuinely hope that this is just an early stumble and not a sign
of things to come.
speaking of the pre-air, i'm still feeling a bit grumbly about the replacement
of the love interest with a girl whose sole acting talent is to look hot. sort
of like a really well made maniquin.
and there's not even any romantic tension..."hot girl wants to date me, i don't
know what to do." ugh
simple answer if you lose interest in a show stop watching, but
if you carry on
watching and then continue to bitch and moan what dose that make you?
it 'dose' makes us critics!
i think they used the family as sort of bait to get some people interested. look
at how other shows changed from the pre-airs. it 'dose' make for great tv!
it still reminds me of brimstone minus the seriousness. it does need to break
out the formalistic setup that others have brought up or it will go the way of
brimstone.
it needs to break out of the rinse and repeat cycle. though i would still watch
it either way.
