well, since the preair version of the first episode had already been released
and someone capped the aired version, it would be logical to cap the second
episode. anyways, if there's nothing changed between the preair and the aired
version, i'm fine with that.

dexter is awesome. eztv super. matroska files (mkv) arrhghgh!! hate it. files
never run right something always goes wrong, outta sync, choppyness, freezing..
yes i have 8 different players and all the codecs and can play virtually every
file type flawlessly. so i'm guessing its because my pc is to old only a
athalon1600 with 128mb video. ah well hope mkv doesnt become to popular and
xvid remains for a long time.

i don't have any problems with the x264 matroska files. they play wonderfully to
me with mplayer on linux and also did when i was using windows. with ffdshow or
coreavc (commercial, faster) they play just fine on windows, and mplayer handles
them great.
can you play any 720p video at all? if you can't play no matter what format the
files are then it's probably your pc that just can't crunch the numbers quick
enough. you could upgrade it, but before you do, check out coreavc, if you're
using windows. it's pretty fast, so maybe it can get some weight off your
computer's back so you can watch it without choppiness/freezing etc.

last sunday? what are you talking about? the 2nd ep aired and was released just
now. the preairs were here maybe a month ago, though. those are 350mb versions
of ep 1 and 2. there were never any more preairs as far as i know.
i do agree with the previous poster who liked the end of this episode. almost
all of this show is really great. especially some parts. the intro, for one.

with all due respect to the uploader (much love), is this going to be a trend? i
love the quality of this release, but my wife and i usually watch these in our
home theater. our player there is an old modded xbox, and it won't play these
high-res files.
i've already gotten this one from another group, but no other group that i've
found provides an rss feed as consistently top-notch as this one.

yes your right i am unable to play any 720p video. already have coreavc witch
consistenly plays the file for about 5min before it starts to fail (usally sound
starts going out of synch, sometimes it momentarily freezes goes correct for few
seconds and then synchsout.) so all i need is a new pc.... now where did i
leave that pot o gold....hmmm.
