i actually watched the pilot last year and didn't like it at all. but just like
you, being a fan of jerry's, i gotta watch this one.

the pilot wasnt taht good, you really should give it a second chance some of the
other ones are hilarious esp in the middle i think ep 15 was good, and blind
date, you really should watch it if you like the office you\'d prob. like this

was that the one where jenna maroney greased herself right off the sofa of her
photo shoot and had to do a "for the troops" spot on tv complete with fireworks,
but the spinning sparklers didn't spin and ended up looking like little swaztikas?
hillarious.

i remember also in the beginning thinking it was just ok.
but like seinfeld the humour is intricately tied up in the personalities (ala
george or kramer) of the characters so it became much funnier as the season
progressed because each character on the show had much more substance becoming more
familiar and the jokes were much funnier when they occured in this context rather
than if you just saw it occasionally-casually channel surfing etc.

yeah if you only watched the pilot and decided it wasn't for you, i strongly
suggest following up more episodes from season 1. it got really good. i'll
admit i didn't watch season 1 on tv after the pilot, but i recently watched it
on dvd and it was some really good comedy.

agreed, it got better as it got along, but i enjoyed it from the start, i love
alec baldwins character.

i totally agree with you guys. season 1 got better each week. once you know
all the characters you gotta love 'em. tina fey is just superb, and alec
baldwin rocks! that episode with the midget prince is hilarious, when jane
krakowsky starts to dance for him! awesome! i hope it doesn't get the axe
since the ratings are not as good as the critics.
