just wondering, it's downloading at the moment and going at an ok speed. but
the tracker status is saying: "connection error(timeout)" does this mean it
isn't going to be going as fast as it can be or does it not actually mean
anything important?
just wanted to say thanks a lot for the new episode of american dad
now for the important bit!! is there some way we can possibly correctly label
the american dad episodes? as mentioned by quite a few of you on the posts,
american dad is on its third season and not the fourth.
it's debatable since they got canceled then renewed a year later. here (aus)
they are selling se4 of family guy as 12 episodes (after which it got canceled 4
a while) then it got renewed the next year and ppl don't know if it's still se4
or a new s5? where as the sites (tv.com etc) list it as 4 still.
hence the debate: is a new season when they say it's a new season or is it a
collection of episodes on the following year?
futurama has the same problem, the sites say there are 5 seasons but i have all
of the episodes in a s1-4 dvd collection.
my opinion: it doesn't matter what the groups call them as u can very easily
rename it to whatever the hell you like.
not exactly debatable... i definately say that seasons are determined by the
producers of the show. go to the official homepage and have a look, american dad
is on season three, family guy on season six. easy as that, don't give a rats
ass about australian seasons!
the thing with futurama is tthat it was produced as five seasons and then aired
as four and in a different order as well. differing prod# and air# has caused
problems in other shows as well, south park for instance. in the episode
awesom-o cartmans mother says that cartman is still grounded for trying to wipe
out the jews, but the episode "passion of the jew" aired after that episode...
at tv.com they list both prod# and airdates so by that info you can sort them
as you wish. personally i've only sorted futurama after prod# so far, but others
might well follow since it is the order they are intended to be seen originally.
(sometimes changes in order are due to pure politics, ex: after 911 a lot of
movies and shows were put on hold).
