oh and people, its "the mkv ones". lol thats like calling the others the avi's.
when avi and mkv is just the container and can be tons of different things
its 720p like the 700mb is hr (or 540p) and the 350mb is sd or 352p
i don't give a shit. 350mb for the quality it gives is awesome. sure, i'll be
grabbing the 720p's as well for the better quality, but then again, i know how
to ask questions if i don't know how to do something, and that's how i learned
to play mkv files.
to those who do the codings: thank you.
to those who do the whinings: bend over, i got a shoe for you.

okay this will be my first time getting a smallville ep in this quality but
sounds great i have always gotten the 350mb files myself and they look fine
but i just got a plasma tv and want to take advantage of this high quality. i
am just wondering how i can watch this on my new tv? i have a standalone divx
player. i have mpc , vlc, and zune on my pc so i am sure i can watch it on
this. is there anyway i can put this on dvd with nero? by the way thanx for
the dl's are very much appreciated. smallville is my fave.

apart from confusions and discussions,i myself would love to see 700 mb versions
again on stage.surely 720p's are cool too but i prefer 540p's.
i'm sure eztv is going to provide us with stuff when they're out.
regards.

well, you have two options. either you watch it via tv-out from your gfx-card,
or you transcode it to standard resolution 720 x 576 (pal)/ 720 x 480 (ntsc) in
order to watch it on your plasma tv. i'm pretty sure your standalone cannot
handle the 720p resolution.

this is my first post, so forgive me if i am a bit of a noob, but i must agree
with azriel, if you do not like it get over it. myself, i am always looking for
hidef versions. the older ones look fine on my computer, but suck when it is on
a 1080p large screen. so for whomever is posting these, keep it up!!!!

blankest out of everyone in this thread you are by faaar the
biggest noob.
we\'ve been doing these smallville 720p for over a year. smallville is on a very
small list of shows that we decided to do in 720p. we have had this stupid
discussion so many times. get over it. we will release what we want.. don\'t like
it, go fuck yourself

ok, those first couple of posts were a troll. ya over it?
nice post maluku.
video and audio are perfect. it's unbelievably great to get these. beer for
everyone, ok.
i would say the easiest way to handle video in windows is cccp-project.net btw.
now back to the usual...
turtleshead: why are these so big? backsnatchfever: because you double clicked it. kfcbucketcusty: yea single click to get the 350mb size. turtleshead: but my download is slow, like 2 mb/s... turtleshead: and i only have 27 torrents open. benthammer: well do you have thinklite codec enhancer installed? benthammer: because that thing crashed my dvd drive. kfcbucketcusty: totally! turtleshead: fucking microsoft.

what people mean is that .mkv don't play back on standalone media players...
i love the quality of 720p but i own a dlink hd media player and watch everything thur that player... .mkv
are great for quality but in terms of compatibility they suck.. they only play on computers and not on
standalone solutions...
there should be a compromise... there was until now with the hr.hdtv releases but it seems that the
realease groups don't care for those anymore... is there any reason why the hr.hdtv don't amke it in the
numbers to eztv as they used to???
i think a good solution is to release hdtv 350mb, hr.hdtv 700mb and .mkv 1-1.2gb files always... unless
they're sdtv, of course;-)
it would be awesome to release the original atsc files... those play back fine on most media players that
are hd capable... my dlink dsm520 does play atsc without any problem... via wifi!!!
thnx and keep up the good work

so use a program and have it convert/burn the .mkv to a dvd, then you can pop it
into a dvd player and watch it.
