things, charlie gains a new view on crime as he strives to get back the life he
once led. "
um just skimmed through this one same ending and all. there is some annoying nbc
logo crap and that message stuff they like to do like after this lame show x is
playing... so the screener is better cause it has no added nbc jargon.
this character must be a scientologist with all that "zen" talk... or maybe i'm
mixing up scientology with half life. ๐
uh.. pretty sure he is a taoist. taoism follows the precepts of zen. the 'now'
is all. to 'be present' is a main goal of taoism. and taoism holds zen as it's
philosophy, it's center.
don't know where you got scientology from??? buncha wack-jobs believing in an
alien overlord crap sheesh! not that most religions aren't wacked, but, far as i
know, scientology takes the cake ๐ taoism and zen practice are about as far
removed you can get from religion and still have a somewhat structured practice.
no gods, no churches, no tithing, no opinion of the 'after-life', etc., etc..
but about the show. i love it ๐ the only problem i have with it is that no one
is gonna 'get it' (see above comment by f0xh0und ๐ ). loved the 'i am not
attached to this car. i am not attached to this car', had me rollin. sucks that
i think this show is gonna be one of quality shows axed before it's time. let's
hope nbc gives it an honest shot.

ummm... i don't think i have to get taoism to get the fact that attachment to
material possessions is a no-no for the main character. it had me rolling too. ๐
it's not pertinent to understand every little thing going on to know what's good
and what's not. is that why you decided to take out the part of my comment where
i said i liked it and thought it was a good show?
