after the pilot i thought "meh, but maybe it will get better" and i have the
feeling that they're heading in a good direction, really liked this episode.
it's a good show. not ground breaking but well paced and funny. solid writing
and production from proven-accomplished christopher lloyd and steve levitan.
james burrows directing and a good ensemble cast.
my big problem was how many fish were injured and killed in the making of this ep.
a rather odd cut off point for the end of the episode. it looked like he was
going to talk more as it faded out. it's really hard to say how well the show
will do. since it has two big stars in it to live up to the quality of cheers,
frasier, and everybody loves raymond. i'm affraid that if the show doesn't live
up to those shows its going to fail. i think probably one of the biggest reasons
why people watched the pilot episode is because they are in the show.
