2.5 men doesnt qualify as comedy to anyone but a tv exec...
the comment about the use of the name "chuck" says it all: the networks are all
reading from the same book and never seem to even get the basics right ... the
name of the game is advertising dollars over good writing...
i will, however, give kelsey grammer another shot ... that dude has made me
laugh since cheers..

ah but if your male character is in the 45-55 "starting over" age group, chuck
was a very popular name.
although... of all the chucks i knew in high school (five i can remember without
thinking about it), all but two are either going by charles or by a middle name
now. making me think chuck is a mindset.

"after seeing it i thought it was quite funny i laughed more than i ever had
watching 2 and a half men "
hahahahaha and there we have this show's target audience.

this show did a great job producing yawns. there's a load of potential, but the writing in this ep feels trite

those of you who said "this show sucks" without even watching it should shut up.
this was a great show. the writing was very well done, good actors and a great
story line. you kids who only find shows like jackass entertaining should
probably stay away. if you liked shows such as cheers or the king of queens you
will love this.

addendum: not as bad as people making it out to be so far. laugh track is
way over done and heaton was a bit annoying, but grammar was excellent and some
great lines from fred williard.
i find it funny that you say the laugh track is overdone. this show is taped
with a live audience. those are real laughs.
