it's a higher resolution version of the episode. there's generally three types
of releases on here for hour-long tv shows like prison break. the regular lower
resolution releases are 350mb. higher resolution/better quality releases are
700mb. finally, there's the 720p hd releases that come in at a hefty 1.1gb.

what would be nice is a version that conforms to the divx home theater profile,
ie divx/xvid screen size of 720 by x i have a set top divx player and the 350mb
file looks terrible on my hdtv and the 700mb file has an unsupported screen
resolution (too large)
why is it so big (700mb)? is it because it-s hq or because it's a
double episode?
can anyone give some light on this?
seriously people still ask this? 540p and 5.1 dd instead of 352p and stereo mp3
thayne, if it conformed to that divx limits crap then it would be 720x400 which
would not be as good of quality. the whole point is to be half 1080i/p
resoluion (not pixels 1920 / 2 = 960, 1080 / 2 = 540)
the 960 by x is cool, but it wont play on my set top player, so as it is now i
dl the 720p .mkv format and re-encode it to 720x400 which look great on my
player/tv, but it sucks having to wait for it to encode lol.
