ally walker and tim dekay play a married couple with ... let's say ...
intimacy issues, in hbo's new series "tell me you love me."
if hbo's "sex and the city" made you crave cosmos and manolos, then "tell me
you love me" (9 p.m. sundays) will hurtle you to bed. for a hug.

because despite all the buzz about this new show and its explicit sex scenes
(yes, they are graphic, and there are many, many of them), the sex here
doesn't arouse as much as it makes you flinch because of all that follows.

like the pain of not feeling attractive to one's spouse after 12 years of
marriage and two kids. or the rage when the pregnancy test reads negative. and
the emptiness after revenge sex and/or the jealousy that creeps up when you
dwell on the notion that your fianc

watched it on hbo earlier tonight. i was expecting it to be a really girly show
but i found it surprisingly good. the descriptions saying it's raw are very
accurate. as a young, single person like myself it almost makes you want to
think twice about marriage as this show really portrays that it really is work.

and to all the horny guys out there, there is a lots of sex and nudity, but it
is portrayed very realistically.

i could have done without seeing an elderly woman performing oral sex on her
elderly husband.

i have to admit though, this was bordering on actual porn for explicity, to the
point where i honestly was not sure if some of it was 'fake' or not. not that
the show loses any of it's quality because of it, as it does paint a compelling
picture, though i'm not entirely certain that it adds anything except as a
marketing ploy to draw viewers.

regardless, i have to also admit that it's managed to hook me both on an
artistic level, and on an admittedly prurient level, which basically makes it a
win win 😉

i really enjoyed this last night. i too was expecting something a little
weaker, but it comes off (no pun intended) as incredibly intelligent about the
subject matter. additionally, i love the fact that they throw you right into
the story and the credits roll at the end. that was a nice touch.

i thought it was ook... i guess the whole relationship type of drama is not my
cup of tea at least when it comes to those type of things don't want to spoil
anything, and those sex scenes were good i thought lol

brutally boring...
reviews of this show are making headlines because of the sex but come on, with
all the available sex on the internet, why make a big deal of this show?
prosthetics for the actors.

this show is not for everyone but the sex isn't there for sex sake, it's there
because sex is a very important part of a relationship. you wouldn't have a
slasher flick without the gory realistic violence so why should programs about
relationships be without realistic sex?

i think i agree with payeco.i hope this show stays for longer period.
