a cop who gets his old job back after going to prison for a couple
*years*?
doesn't sound very realistic.
he was innocent, they couldn't stop him if they'd wanted to. the real question is
why he would go back.. but by the looks of the ending, it's so that he has the
resources/contacts to do his own investigation.

my thoughts exactly, lets hope the network feels the same way.
as for what space wrote about it being unrealistic well if we went by that
criteria then we'd have no shows at all as the cops would be in jail, the dr's
would be struck off, the lawyers disbarred and the parents would be in jail for
child neglect.
lets not forget it's entertainment and the first episode of life was just that.

the way he finds the clues. " did anyone ask the dog?" good twist on the
regular cop shows.hope others enjoyed it too. bye

very well written, good acting, great storyline and plot.

that's the first thing i thought. let's see how many fake
comments there are about it, like that "looking good" one.

nbc is destroying my television watching schedule!!! i had everything very
neatly planned on my calendar and figured i'd get a little breathing room
since some of the shows i loved from last year were cancelled. then they start
leaking all these shows i had already planned *not* to watch. a pox on nbc!
i really had no intention of watching this show. you can only watch so many
cop shows before your head bursts. i was pleasantly surprised though. the
beginning of this made me a little queasy. i kinda felt the same way everyone
else did about why the heck he'd want to be a cop and put himself in dangers
way when he had all that money and everyone on the force smirking at him behind
his back. he's a quirky character, but when you see the end scene it really
puts it into perspective (almost the same formula journeyman used to sum up
it's pilot). everyone is going to think crews is a mental case when, in fact,
it appears he's dead straight on.
i agree with 'whosthat' about the fruit. it's the little things in life we
need to appreciate, like actually getting a good piece of fruit. the grocery
stores around here are abysmal. i want some of that fruit that guys eating!
it'll be a great gag for the show.
i can't wait to see more. i feel like i need to hire someone to help me keep
track of my viewing schedule. i wonder which shows eztv will carry and which
ones they won't? maybe it would just be easier if i found out which ones
won't be ripped and just cross them off my list. i liked raines, but that went
down faster than a cheap whore giving a blow job.
decisions, decisions, decisions.

you're right of course. i wrote that comment before watching the show, and the
summary just didn't make much sense for me.

wow i was pleasantly surprised by that. after reading the blurb i was sceptical
of another cop/drama show but it's so much better than i would have thought.
what makes it even better is it's the same guy from 'band of brothers' so i know
he's a fantastic actor.
the humour is subtle yet funny, there are the little quirky things like the
fruit, the car, the husband of the ex and the tractor, so it adds that sense of
realism. actors are good and the women are hot (as you'd expect haha), and the
dialogue is very good.
the best thing by far is his amazement at the technology. if you think about it,
so much has changed in the last 12 years so it's no surprise to see him so
stunned at the notion of 'instant messaging', handsfree calls in cars and
pictures on phones. love it :d
i have to also say that this could definitely be a top10 show if it keeps going
the way the pilot went.
