does anyone else have sync problems towards the end of this episode? trying to
determine if it's a codec or other software problem for me, or if it's in the
file itself.

yea, use a -250ms delay in media player classic.

(while it's playing, enable info display using ctrl+4,
then use "-" on your numberpad to change delay in -10ms
increments up to -250ms)
