not a pilot in the sense we're used to seeing around here--it's currently
airing on fox.

if it's a pilot on fox.. it's like an ice cube in hell. everyone in north
america would have to tune in for it not to get canceled. even then, they might
pre-empt if they can find a funny home video of a dog barking.

...wow is all i can say. i don't even think i can say that it is better then
flash gorden, and that's very very hard to say. how anybody in their even
warped mind would think this show is good makes me believe that fox is being run
by idiots...oh wait, that's already been proven.

speaking of which, how did standoff get canceled? was it in the 4:00am to 5:00am
time slot or something? that was the best show ive seen on fox in years....

you clearly have yet to watch arrested development..

sad excuse of a show. i don't think they were even trying. sad part is
americans will think this is a reality tv show and it will run for 4 seasons.
worse than plan 9 from outer space.

plan 10 from outer space: force awful television shows upon humans to cause
them to commit mass seppuku. you now know the truth!

seriously better than flash gordan but if its on fox than its real sad =(
fox should just stick with their all time favourite reality programs and let the
other tv broadcasters do the show that would be given a chance to air and nt
canceling and canceling

i was amazed but i actually found this hugely entertaining.

it's a "reality" show, not a mockumentary, that follows an incredibly stupid
but hot woman as she starts a job as a news anchor woman for a real tv
station. apparently she was a diva for wwe and she keeps calling
that "modeling" which is funny in and of itself but there are a few things
that make the show really funny:

1) the girl is dumb as a rock and has the vocabulary of a 6th grader, if that.
2) the "professional" journalists keep talking about their "journalistic
integrity" then they cut to shots of them doing stories like, "why boys have
cooties." and "people don't wash their hands after using the restroom!"
3) the people of tyler, tx are even dumber than the dumb blond so their
reactions are priceless, e.g. "what about the kids that are watching the
news?" (what kid watches the news?) which leads another to surmise "they'll be
exposed to cleavage!" then one lady goes on to say how they use sex to sell
everything now like <bleep> and <bleep>... i have no idea what she said but i
thought it was funny she didn't think it was ok to have an attractive woman on
tv but using curse words on tv was ok.

there are lots of other little funny things like some of the news people quit
over the show and they had to blur their faces out.

give the show a shot, it's one of those shows where you get to laugh at
everyone. you get to laugh at the dumb blond and you get to laugh at the
management people that keep telling themselves "she's not too bad." she
horrible as a new reader by the way.

i'll pretty much watch anything, but i don't see this lasting long. apart from
her being hot that's about as far as this show goes for me.

breaking news: i`ve just found out fox has cancelled it. click doomsday.

i thought the show was funny. all these uptight coiffed women who see
themselves as god's gift to local news-and then this dumb bimbo invades their
little world. but by the way, the show was good because the bimbo isn't just
played dumb ala paris hilton-she is really trying to be a good reporter-and to
be honest, i've seen worse.
