the scene has gone to shit.

i might as well wait a week now before downloading, just to make sure there
won't be any proper. how frigging hard is it to encode a video file? (for those
that are doing the encoding, it's a rhetorical question, to spell it out even
further, it means the answer is already known)

don't complain. it's free. (it's also very, very gay - and pointless - to
complain about something that's free.)

these groups do their best to get a file recorded, encoded and
uploaded as quickly as possible. you do nothing but complain. people and computers
and dvd recorders can make mistakes and errors. get over yourself and live with it.

and since you like rhetorical questions...why don't you record, encode and
upload the shows? i already know the answer because it's a rhetorical question.
duh. complainers never upload files.

i also watched the first release and i didn't notice anything.
and i normally notice when something is out of synch, but this time the synch
problem must have been really minimal.

so which one should i get? the lol one or this one? considering that house's xor
proper was apparently way worse than the original lol release, i'd just like to
know if this yestv release is really better.

so this is better? or is it worse? 😉 i'm not complaining, i understand these
are all free and things go wrong, sometimes worse than others, but i still
would rather get something that works right. 🙂

sure it's a rhetorical question, but your reasoning behind it is pretty general.
thing is, if the shows were shown here the same time as the u.s rather than 6
months down the track, then i would.

my annoyance was (which has been pointed out) was why rush the release?
sure people are happy that they get it nice and quick, but happy only lasts a
week. screw ups are remembered a lot longer. 'notv' my point in case.
having 1 person screen the show before it's relased to the gen. public would
take a whole 45 minutes more.

i never quite got the "don't complain it's free" argument, my internet
connection and it's bandwidth certainly are not free, i'm paying indirectly for
anything i download, as are most people.

i'd happily rip and seed anything, but there is no point, it won't be on tv
here for another year or so, but i certainly would not waste my time releasing
flawed rips...

this is what *i* don't get. we've got several groups competing to release these
episodes, of course we're going to complain if someone gets it wrong. if you
can't get it right, step aside and let someone competent handle it.

> these groups do their best to get a file recorded, encoded and
> uploaded as quickly as possible. you do nothing but complain. people and

looks like their best isn't good enough. how hard is it to take an extra five
minutes to skip through an episode and check if the sound is synced? how hard
is it to get it right in the first place? it's not like it's cutting edge
stuff, groups have been releasing rips for years.

> get over yourself and live with it.

i hope you won't take this the wrong way, but kindly fuck off and die.

getting into quite a heated discussion as usual!

personally i understand the status attached to being the first to release the
episode and that is why they rush the releases out, but after all theses
released rips go out the everyone and i'm sure most people wouldn't mind if
they took a bit longer to check their rip before they released it. after all
if its crap and it gets nuked what good is it if you were the first group to
release it?!? maybe the scene rules should make it so that the rips get
checked before being released or if the rip is bad you get shunned for a
week 😉
