it sounds very much like a discovery channel type show, except it's on
britain's ch. 4:

it's "i shouldn't be alive" on the discovery channel. they shortened it to just
"alive".

think i saw an episode from last season
on australian tv...some guy got his arm
caught in a rock slide or something, out
in the wilderness, and cut the thing off
to get away and survive.
i've woken up a few times with women after
a heavy night on the turps and wanted to do
the same....! beer goggles, will i never
learn.

name that producer or those producers of touch the void please? which show is

is it a documentary series based around the andes plane crash featured in the
movie alive from the 90s?

yeah this was shown on british channel 4, on 4th july 2007. how do i know
because i live in england and watched it. this is the1st episode of four parts
of the 2nd series. basically alive is true sories of amazing survival stories
told by reconstructions and live interviews with those lucky enough to have
come out the other end alive. this episode is told by three experienced
mountaineers who got into trouble on the final day of climbing mount mckinly,
the highest peak in north america. it was the 17th day of the climb and summit
day. what happens next i will leave for you to imagine or download. very
interesting program i wish i knew where i could download the 1st series which
was eight episodes. although this is a british program, the stories come from
all around the world and are fromall nationalities. anyway the fact is that
the best documentaries come from britain, always have always will
