because it's an hr release! these have higher quality video and untouched ac3
audio from the hdtv broadcast. are they worth it? if you watch on an hdtv screen
with 5.1 sound, almost definitely. otherwise, it's just a personal choice
depending on your tastes and situation. i'd suggest getting at least one and
making up your own mind.
if you watch on a quality tv say 32"+, then the extra quality will be obvious -
often as good as you'll get waiting for the dvd version. even watched on a pc
with a good widescreen monitor, the difference is discernable but probably not
worth the additional download.

tf
it is better than dvd. much better. dvd is 720 x 480 and the action safe
area is about 648 x 430 (or even less on older equipment) this show is
broadcast at a true 1280 x 720. much much more detail to start with. the hr
is 960 x 528 (resized down from 720) and the 720p releases are of course 1280 x
720 and the best ones are x264 releases.
the 350 meg releases are 624 x 352 so as you can see not even using your tv full
action area.
