after a full last season of cbr encoding, these idiots are back with another
trick up their sleeves.
this time they decided to encode the first 3 segments of the show at a constant
1000 kbps (995 / 985 / 995 respectively) and used the last segment for sizing
purposes (the two graphs included reflect what was stated above). even though
both third and fourth segment are extremely dark and have not much action
happening, they have the exact same bitrate as the first two segments which have
plenty of high motion scenes.
it's really cool that you can pre 10 minutes after air, the bad part is that
anyone could do it by cheating. may i suggest learning from people who can do it
in half of your pre times without cheating? you've been pretty lucky so far
since it doesn't appear that many groups can build a simple comparison graph,
but stupidity, luck and no brain will not get you very far.

has anyone watched this - the notv release - and can comment whether a proper
was needed ? ie is the notv release watchable or was a proper really needed ? cheers

i haven't seen the notv, but from dim's proper i'd infer there is not really
anything terribly wrong with the notv cap. i also notice that neither of these
has been nuked on orly. so it's a valid proper from a cheating angle, but the
notv is probably okay.

man i had no idea they did last season all in cbr thats bs, any more of there
caps should be banned from here and we need someone else to start capping these
