i honestly don't see how you can get on a soapbox.

his comment was offensive and ignorant but so are yours. one person makes a
dumb remark and then suddenly an entire nation is in a decline? i'm an american
and don't fit any of the stereo-types you've listed and i find them insulting.
i currently live in sweden and travel quite a bit. i've learned that there are
offensive and crude people in every country and culture.

when i came upon the original comment i thought to myself, 'wow what an idiot'.
your heart may be in the right place but the way you go about it really makes

when i read that i figured he was just being sarcastic. still pretty sure it's
sarcasm thing is though i hate sarcasm due to the fact people seem to think
sarcasm is so damn funny actually it is usually not and when people use
it to try to offend me on the net they actually don't even know wtf they are
