is this an issue happening with all us shows lately, or just to us vm fans?
and for that matter, does this have anything to do with how the us based
digital tv has no error correction compared to other country formats?

this is unbelievable.
for those who already downloaded it, i think you can fix the synch issues
(just while watching it) using vcl. i tried it once and i made it worse, but
maybe some of you will have better luck.

why does this happen, what have people got against veronica mars.
still, nothing as bad as that time last year when they cut off the opening
scene with the argument "you can watch it on the upn site".
i'm incredibly thankful for this releases, veronica just never seems to get
treated right.

you probably mean vlc...
i use media player classic for sync issues. in the options, you can choose an
audio delay in ms.

if you have windows media player classic go into
play --> audio --> options, and then tick the 'audio time shift (ms)' box, and
input 200 into the box beside it. then click okay.
this has made the audio in sync with the video for the last two episodes, so i
hope it does for this one as well...

ehm, i downloaded this episode and i really couldnt find any async parts, its
maybe some little ms out of sync, but its still watchable with no problems ...
