it seems interesting, and the way the episode ended implies that this is not the
devil wears prada story. the girl was hired for a darker reason in the firm.

of course, you cant judge a series from the pilot. usually it gets a lot better
or a lot worse. so, we'll have to wait and see...

my mother was riveted by it, she says it's great (although it's not really my
bag)... close is a real bitch in it. 😲

just finished watching this.. i like it! will tune in for the rest! patty is
one mean bitch!

too many shows, i spose if you throw loads at use, one might stick or not get cancelled,

i thoroughly enjoyed this; fast paced, good dialog, interesting and morally
ambitious characters and tight plotting. i didn't know going in what the premise
was, chances are i'd have given it a miss based solely on that. as it is i'm
pleasantly surprise and hope the quality keeps up so i can add this to the shows
i'll be watching this season (which incl. the wire, dexter and bsg). glen close
is killer in this and anyone who saw her on the shield will know how good she is.

the only legal drama i ever saw was justice and that was cancelled
but that was a great show imo

that's why i like the pre-air. when i have to make choices at the start of
prime time to add new shows in, i only pick ones i know i'll like. i won't
even watch most of these shows. (i watch too much tv anyhow.) since i have the
summer when the only thing i watch are cable shows, it'll give me some leisure
time to watch the new stuff and decide whether i want to make a commitment to
it.

with everyone having tivo or dvrs, the networks are going to be jockeying for
actual air time neilsen numbers instead of what's getting saved on dvrs.

enjoyed this preair alot! thanks for posting it, had not heard of this show
until i had seen it on eztv. looking forward to watching this series.

hmmm...not as edgy as most fx series are--this is 'sanitized' enough to be on
the major networks.

so is this going to be one of those shows where you get interested in it,
follow the plot and then they get cancelled and you don't know what happens?!
that happened to me with a few shows last season and i'd rather not
get 'emotionally' invested in a show if there's a good chance it won't have a
resolution.

of course the name actors are great but this new actress--she's not that
compelling. she could be one of several brunette starlets in hollywood i'm
afraid.

i will give it one more go, if just to see ted danson in a role that allows
him to show his dramatic range.

well... i gave it a try and it's awesome... seriously anyone who is put off by
the morons saying it's like the devil wears prada should watch the show instead
of the trailer! the direction, acting and writing are superb and it's definitely
got something on network dramas... beware if you're looking for the practice
though... it's not a court room drama. the main storyline revolves around
lawyers and a legal battle but it's not shark.
