a great show - two kiwi\'s living in ny, trying to make it with their two-piece band.
being a kiwi who has lived in the us for several years, i really really love to see these guys\' take on what
it\'s like - things like
\"oh you\'re from new zealand! i heard it\'s beautiful there! there\'s vikings there, right?\"
and miscommunications between the accents -
\"my name is bret\"
\"brit?\"
\"no, bret\"
\"brit? like brittany?\"
just try telling an american the person they are looking for is \"on the deck\"
anyway very funny show - you really have to pay attention to the subtle body language and timing that
these guys use in the show to really get the most out of it - the actor playing their manager murray is
particularly good at playing the anal-retentive loser, and mel, the one-fan is also fantastic.
can you believe we don\'t get this show in nz?!! if not for torrents, i\'d never be able to watch it!

what's the reference? i'm a new zealander and i'm not sure i caught it.. or
maybe i did catch it and just didn't notice.

brett saying that jermaine's hickey was from the vacuum and not judy bailey....
or maybe he meant the j-dog thing, i'm not really sure if thats a kids show
character from nz or not.

loving this show.
very refreshing and different!
just thought i would say for those who love this show nd wonder if there is
anything else like it. i would recommend a show called the mighty boosh from
the uk. a tad bit more surreal then this show but equally as entertaining and
funny. those who are already mighty boosh fans might agree!
anyways thanks to the capper i look forward to more episodes!
