as i'm from the uk and if the hdtv version was to be kept it would meen a week longer to wait for the next ep and then it would be as normal once a week. i have been waiting for the hdtv one myself anyway. if you just want to watch it the dsr is ok but as the file has been d/l and once i have them all i save them for a rainy day maybe in a year or so. so my 2 pence worth, i would like the hdtv and a pause for a week. thanks and bye for now (si)(uk) :-) |

if the show isn't being broadcast anywhere in hdtv format anymore, i guess the dsr captures will have to do until the dvd's get released. but, if it is still showing somewhere in hdtv format, then yeah... i'd be willing to wait 2 weeks for each episode... the difference in quality mightn't be noticeable on the pc, but sure is when burned onto dvd and watched on a tv. any chance someone has captured s02e03 in hdtv format is there? cheers... and thanks eztv! p.s. i hope the upcoming mini-series "fallen" on abc family will be available in hdtv too! |

lol, for the illiterates/thick shytes :- the (monday) dsr releases are capped from abc family (cable) channel (fullscreen); the (friday) hdtv/hr/720p releases are capped from abc (ota-720p broadcast). abc has ended the friday 'repeats' ie. kyle xy will only be shown on abc family on mondays. so only dsr from now onwards. comprehende? si? learn to read perhaps? |

dude, calm down... abc never intended to always broadcast this show in the main network. they are using it as a tool to drive traffic to their abc family channel by showcasing shows from that network. now that \"greek\" is just starting, they want to use it to help bring an audience to the show that might not find it otherwise. just wait until carriers start carrying abc family in hd and everything will be available \'early\' and in hd. |

koningkaas, lol your insulting people yet so wrong. hdtv rips have more picture on the side, they are not cropped on the top and bottom that would be stupid to do that to a dsr because you would be losing picture not gaining like with the hdtv rips. oh and i checked out s02e03 dsr on my tv this morning and could obviously see a quality loss! jubas, even pdtv rips own dsr easily ws.dsr: h**p://img227.imageshack.us/img227/3766/fulldsrxy8.jpg ws.pdtv: h**p://img138.imageshack.us/img138/9092/fullpdtvos3.jpg in comparison... ws.dsr is a little better then a good ws analog rip. ws.pdtv is much noticeably better then ws.dsr. hdtv rip (624x352) is a little better then ws.pdtv |

i would rather have it 5 days later. the hdtv release is much better. so drop the dsr version. thanks from portugal. eztv is the best thing in the web. |

drop the dsr, i agree. hdtv version is the only way to 'honor' the series as a fan in my opinion. why allow cheap-ass tv networks to get away with chopping off a third of the screen. supporting that and watching at two cut-away faces of the main characters talking sucks ass. about the 5 day later period.. that's just once. after all, after the first 5-day wait, watching the series will be at the standard once-a-week interval. hdtv is minimum. hr is better. 720p is heaven on your lcdscreen. |

i'd go with dsr. it doesn't make much difference to me watching it in a lower quality, but it will make a difference if i have to wait 5 days longer just to watch it in hdtv. |
