this is by far the best 60 minutes to ever air on television. the
conflict/resolution was everything i had wanted it to be...this show made me
feel like a member of the family...just an outside perspective of the lives of
everyone who worked in the studio...aaron is a genius and i will follow him
wherever he goes, be it broadcast or cable...i'm there.

gonna miss this series. instead of quality programming, we get bs like "pirate
master", "so you think you can dance", and "american idol".

god i hate the sheeple who watch drivel like that.

so sad it's over....
thanks to everyone who made this show available to the world....i doubt it will
ever be seen on australian television otherwise.
sorkin is the master, can't wait to see what he does next.

yes, thanks a lot for this and everybody who worked on it.

so sorry to see it go, but i guess there were just too many and too big words in
the dialogue for the average viewer. also, the plot was not self-explanatory and
one really had to follow the schem os things. oh well...
let's watch ms. hilton again. she doesn't talk much and the words she uses we
all understand....

goodbye studio 60

well, channel 9 has the rights, but they'll probably bury it like they did rome
or kill it like they did with the west wing. hmm... speaking of which, maybe it
will get a shot on the abc when 9 cancels the show after screening 3 episodes....

me cynical about australian commercial tv? i'm shocked you could even think that...

i guess we can hope that hbo will pick it up, unlikely as that is.... now
there's a team i would love to see, sorkin and hbo.

from variety june 25

aaron sorkin will return to broadway in november with his play about the birth
of television, \\\"the farnsworth invention.\\\" dodger theatricals will lead a
producing team that is expected to include steven spielberg.

des mcanuff will direct the play, which is scheduled to go into a shubert
theater for an unspecified november start date. mcanuff helmed a developmental
workshop production at la jolla playhouse in march as part of the page-to-stage
program; that staging was open to the public but not to reviewers.

aussie tv is a crock anyway, we have a whopping 3 channels to pick from and they
are always 6-9 months behind the yanks ☹️

ohwell, thanks for the studio 60 eps, this was one a show i couldn't wait to watch.

i couldn't agree more. i'm saddened by the loss of some of the best writing,
acting and good old-fashioned scripted tv. maybe we can bring it back with dvd
sales? *here's hoping*

ummm... there are five channels if you include sbs and the abc, which usually
air the best quality stuff. plus you get abc 2 on digital...
