i can usually tell if i like a show or not by counting the number of times i
pause the video to do other stuff.
it's almost 53 minutes long and i didn't pause a single time, now thats a good
review coming from me
and yes, some fine looking women in this show.. not that that's why i like it,
but it doesn't hurt the eyes.

my first impressions of the debut of 'jekll' (bbc 1 uk)
the acting was a bit heavy-handed at times, though i think that it will work to
the programs benefit with the 'hyde' persona. the bit with the climbing was
something telling, i think, about the future of the show. excited about seeing
more of 'hyde' in the future installments.
hopefully they keep up with the private investigators bit, rather funny and seem
the key to back-story. and of course you have the 'shadow company' and his
family story-arcs to keep you guessing and playing-along with the show.
all in all, quite good in my opinion. and shows a potential for a
three-dimensional story.

i have no clue, but since it's written by the same guy that
wrote coupling (uk)
and also the recent episode (10) of doctor who (best episode this season) i'm
definately going to have a look.
yes, i'd agree on that. he also wrote what was for me the best episode of
season 2 ("the girl in the fireplace"), so right now he's the gold standard.

nesbitt has no depth. stinky. and surprisingly dumbed down
script.
???
it's the best acting i've seen in a long time... love it!

imho, uk shows tend to be lower budget than hollywood's. also, i never seemed to
get the humor (except for the 1980's, "hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" ).
but jekyll is probably the best thing from the uk that i've ever seen. the first
episode is a little slow, but interesting. the second episode will hook you. and
it stays as good or better throughout the next four episodes.
the wife and assistant (michelle ryan) are very cute. the latter plays the lead
role of jaime summers in the new, "bionic woman" series.
in many ways, this is as good as "dexter". but jekyll has a cool, scifi-ish
"supernatural" element.
