i saw the first 2 eps on youtube, so i'm very happy eztv posts it on the site
now.

it's very creepy!!! not like stargate-sg1.

amanda tapping has to get used to a new role but it look's very promising.

it's worth downloading. i would certainly feel very ripped off if i paid for
it . acting is horrible for one. the cgi backgrounds aren't very well done
either. something worth watching on tv when there's very little on. i'm actually
enjoying a low budget show the collector alot more than this.

ok, 720p is still ok if i close down some heavy poo, but 1080p is damn
impossible
but 1080p h264 runs smooth as silk on even ancient machines without resorting
to hardware acceleration

800~1000mhz, and those already can play xvid..
hell, try finding a desktop pc new, 400mhz pentium 2, with an ati rage in it or
something, u only
find those at your school to f*ck with..

well wort buying if you are unsure try the first ep and if you like it please
buy it.

we need to succeed not just for the show but the concept of buying ep online is
something i wish for other companies to try at least as alternative way to get
the show out.


is it low budget yes though still looking enough to not look cheap imo

am i the only one who wants to like this show but finds the length of
these "episodes" retarded? i mean seriously there release rate is one normal
length episode ever month and a half. they even seem to be filmed a lot like
normal episodes but for some reason they've opted to cut them into tiny little
pieces and show you one every two weeks.

the show really does look like i could enjoy it but with the huge gap in time
between episodes causing an incredibly slow moving story line it'll never be
able to hold my attention. maybe if i come back in a year when they've got
something like 8 normal eps out it would be much more enjoyable.

1080p running smooth as silk? 1080p is a viciously resource hungry codec. at
minimum, it requires 3ghz processor, 1.5gb ram and a 1080p capable display to
play smoothly. ofcourse nowadays, almost every video card has it's proprietary
hd video decoding technology, nvidia has purevideo and ati has avivo (?) which
take a load off the cpu by doing the decoding. but even then, you require 1gb+
ram and a 3ghz cpu atleast to run it with smooth frame rates. and how many
"ancient" machines have those configs?

this show is indescribably bad. if i'd coughed up whatever it is they're
charging per episode i'd be feeling cheated right about now. hopefully it'll
get better. otherwise i'm just thankful that each sitting is only 15 minutes
long. i don't think i could endure more than that.

quite possibly one of the worst, if not the worst shows i've ever tried to
watch. i'm amazed that i actually managed to sit through 3 episodes.

for anyone undecided, if you're looking for something to make you gouge your
eyes out with, this will fit the bill nicely. i love amanda tapping, but good
god, this show is a steaming pile of regurgitated shit, after it's been sitting
out in the sun rotting for 4 days.
