thank you kalist0. bt is blocked here at the university and i really didn't
feel like waiting for a couple weeks until i go home for the weekend to watch this.
i have tried so many ports and none work. i've even tried using legit ports
like the ones skype uses and other typical ports but none of them seem to work.
and i don't believe it is traffic shaping because even if i encrypt packets
like with azureus or utorrent (i use both) it still won't work. if i try to run
a port scan with something like nmap and get caught they consider that "hacking"
and they take that shit way to seriously.
well at my university they just block every port from any ip adress that gets
accessed by more then 10 tcp connections at the same time -> port blocked
