in the coverage of the 2nd gop debate not once did they mention ron paul..well,
maybe because what he said wasn't funny at all,
but still disappointing for me. ☹️

i got the tuesday ep from mininova this morning the 17th.
i really don't understand what has happened in the last few weeks but both daily
show and colbert are coming in very late the next day or even like tuesday's ep
2 days late at other sites. mininova and demonoid have both been getting these
shows up faster in the last few weeks even tho they are still going up quite late.
if shows like smarter than a 5th grader or american idol can go up so reliably
week after week what is going on with shows aimed at a more motivated (smarter?)
audience?
daily show in particular is very much a 'dated show' since next day events can
quickly eclipse a previous ep.
help!!!!!!!!!

the sonofshun ("sos") are reasonably quick and reliable and good quality, use
those instead (won't show up here because they're "non-scene"). maybe one
reason the scene releases are so late is because they're already busy doing all
the other stuff that aired earlier in the evening, you know, racing groups for
american idol and what no.

yeah, its a shame... i would rather have a reliable output of all shows wanted,
than 4 versions of lost asap, that all get propered 2 hours later anyway and so
on...
but the real shame is that i even have to care what "the scene" does...
if you read this: have mercy syoung!!! waste your precious time again to do
daily releases, not only when the scene screws up... :-p
good ole days when sy would release on sos before the "scene" releasers even
decided in what date format they should release today....

pc has a video out, i play everything back on a 26" tv. i have a remote control
media controler so i have the convenience of pause rewind etc. the only thing i
care about is the resolution so the file shouldn't be too compressed.... but
that is very, very rarely a problem.

general political stuff, political satire and so on.. you should definetly check
it out.
but if you dont wana register there, most things get "crossposted" on mininova.
org . daily show and colbert report allways get posted there too, directly after
getting released on sos.
but now sy (the verry nice person that fed my need for early tds and colbert
releases for a loooong time) only releases when there is no scene release in
sight.
btw, well compressed 50mb eps are released there in weekly packets too. but i
guess that wont go to well with your tv ;-)
oh and about scene and non-scene...
lets put it this way: "the scene" are the guys with the funny names (lol, vtv,
caph, notv etc) that fight about who realeses something first and who messes up
the most, non-scene releases are just nice normal people sharing there
recordings with us ;-)

i think like most people i am looking at the substance of the release. i no more
care who posts it than i care which network is broadcasting a show i like.
the only show i really care about being posted quickly is daily show. if i get
ideal or my name is earl as example a day or 2 late it doesn't matter.
i have just gotten used to waking up seeing the nite before prime time shows
posted with ds and cs following a few hours later in the afternoon (east asia)
i hope my pleas will be sympathetically regarded and the old schedule will resume.

in the uk, if i was lucky, i could wake up to see tds, download it, put it on my
zen, and watch it on my way to work only a few hours after it aired in the east
coast (and before it aired that evening in the uk).
oh well, maybe one day it'll be that way again... ☹️
