at least they didnt end with a big cliffhanger or anything, since the series
wasnt really planned to end now. i am glad for that. too many shows end awkwardly.
whoever said it should have ended years ago is so right. the mom was
getting
way too old and flabby. and rory's ass just keeps growing.
unf**ing believeable!!-finally some actresses who don't look like almost
starved wannabe modells! and they are both still very thin! the fact, that their
characters love eating, makes some loveable and real-or do want some boney
actresses, eating a carrot a day? that's the great thing about gilmore girls and
for change it send out a good and healthy message to the young girls-as opposed
to watching nicole richie, the olsen twins being vey questionable role modells!
who do you think you are ,calling l.graham old and flabby! rory ass is big?
maybe you need glasses..

i agree! this episode has so many sad moments.. it's sad to see gg go, but it
has been a long, long time. thanks to alexis/lauren for holding up the show for
7 seasons!
it's over 😲 and shame on you for saying rory has a big ass... she's just
great and so was the show and and and... i'm really going to miss this one :'(

don't thank them... they are the ones who thought the paycheck from cw wasn't
big enough for them to stay... and cw asked them for 13 more episodes to finish
of the show properly... *sigh* so sad... i'll miss you, stars hollow. goodbye,
gilmore girls...

actually, cw started the negotiations really late (lauren commented that she
hasn't heard anything from cw when she was doing press in january) even though
they knew the girls's contracts are up this season. if they had started earlier,
dave s rosenthal might have adjusted his plans accordingly so that the series
finale would be a finite end.
secondly, from what's been said, both lauren and alexis actually isn't as
concerned on the money front as they are about the time that would be spent.
thay had given seven years to the series working long hours every day. i heard
that one of the negotiations deal is that they wanted more resting time in
between shoots, and thats not possible since they are the lead. at least they
end it now instead of having one of them coming back (like the luke and lorelai
show that was suggested and has been floating around). that would be silly cos
the show is so not about the overrated couple but about the intergeneration
family relationship.
also, i have a feeling dawn ostroff (the head of cw) prefers upn show (where she
was the head before the merge) than the wb show. look at how she treats all the
wb veteran shows, including burying 7th heaven with no promotion, cancelling
reba even though it is their highest rated sitcom, and was helping 7th heaven
with their ratings, and now announcing really late the finale and hence not
ensuring the show gets a proper sendoff. at least this finale is satisfying and
works well as a series finale.
