tommyboy, its a british current events news type things, its one of the oldest
shows in tv history...
on a more topical note, your all forgetting that 14th century(i forget the real
date, but its was a hell of a long time ago) christians did pretty much the same
thing, they killed a lot of people that were 'heretics' killed witch's... and
other people that didn't like the church.
i don't believe its a cult, i believe that its a religion... some of there
ideology's are a bit whack ill give you that, but most religions are based on
crazy idea's... i don't believe scientologyists are doing anything wrong, its
just a new religion, that afaik haven't committed any crimes, yet. witch makes
them slightly more respectable, imo.
that said, i suppose, they have some reason to believe there 'bible' im sure
some of it can be backed up with science. however i dont really thing any
religion(or cult *sigh*) has reason to exist.
and, no, im not a sympathist or a follower of any religion, so dont insult me by
jumping to moronic conclusions.

if you think they haven't committed any crimes you are sorely wrong. 11 went to
jail for spying, they have falsified evidence to send someone to prison, they
are responsible for at least one 'known' death. before you blabber bullshit and
sympathise do some research.

i'm worried about the influence of these guys - sure in clearwater it's
widespread, but now it's spreading globally, and more scarily being accepted.
the fact that it manically hunts down individuals who criticise the cult and
defames them makes it clear - we have to take scientology down as a group. big
mega corporations, governments, media - we have to take thus bunch as a whole.
