simple. they don't care about quality, only the speed of the delivery. sorny
and caph are both canadian groups that take advantage of the one hour earlier
showing. both groups are utterly incapable of making a decent avi that can be
burned and played on a wide variety of home dvd players.
lol and other groups, not least the movie guy axxo, are able to release avi
files which do not have these quality problems which you always get with the
canadian groups
needless to say eztv is also canadian and this jingoism seems to slant their
view. they defend caph for eg even when the release is junk

should have added
if you run the file through divx converter, which is part of free divx player
download, it will fix the sound sync problems. this can take an hour or more
on a computer that does not have the latest cpu.
the very fact that divx converter fixes the problem is conclusive proof that
there is a problem.
as previous comments show, some people don't give a toss about quality. or
they just watch the episodes on vlc, which itself seems to be able to handle
these crap canadian releases ok

the thing is that it's really hard to get that 2hd proper without registering to
some website (and i'm sick of doing that). i'm currently getting it from irc ...
