yeah but still, a 10 episode season, well, almost an 11 episode season... though
season 5 was 11 episodes, i suppose, but still! just seems like it's over too

as far as i know that season 6 is the final season and the show will be no
more. have they reached an agreement for a 7th season? or is this this just
one of those bs things that they do where they leave no closure on a program?

someone might correct me on this, but wasn't this going to be the final season
split into two parts like the sopranos, and that accounts for the shorter
seasons. fx then went on to negotiate more episodes and another season, heres
something i lifted from the futon critic -
as for "the shield," 13 fresh installments are set to be produced for the final
season, which will launch in late 2007 or early 2008. production is currently
underway on its sixth cycle of 10 episodes (due in early 2007), which was
originally billed as the second half of its fifth season. in total, 88 episodes
will have been shot of the series once it run concludes.

this isnt the final season.
they reached an agreement for 2 more seasons (23 episodes) in march'06.
fx gave shawn ryan a chance to give a proper final season for this amazing show.
season 7 is currently in works and they're filming since 2 weeks...
13 episodes for season 7, scheduled for early 2008..

there will only be one more season, not two.
and, regarding this episode, i hope this is not a cut version !
because the french network which airs the shield cut the season 5 finale from 70
minutes to 50.

great shows.
a technical detail. in france (well, in europe) we watch things in pal format,
25 frames per second. in u.s., it's 29.9. fps.
so, even if there is a 2min. 30 sec. difference beetween this file and the u.s.
broadcast, it will be the exact same thing.
but please, can anyone watch in the u.s. and tell us if the show is nuke?
