there was no ctu rip last week, and in the past some of theirs have been less
than perfect, so i'll go with this and hope it's ok. looking back via search,
there's only one 720p rip per week on this site anyway.
an episode this good deserves the full gig download, so thanks!
instead of dribbling about it, how about someone coming back after you have
downloaded it and comment.
in particular i would like to know if they cut off the end again. takes me 10
hours to download and like many others we rely on these messages to check if we
are getting somethng decent or not
just in case you're not aware, there is no ctu rip. you may be waiting
forever...(although given the history of their internals this may not be the
case.)
if there is an internal, there's a good chance it won't make it to a public
tracker so you'll need access to usenet or a private tracker.
i haven't watched the entire show from beginning to end, but i did skim through it. fast forwarding about
2 minutes at a time, and watched for a few seconds to make sure the audio was in sync. the video quality
was as i expected, top notch, the audio was in sync, and the show ended properly with the "lost" logo on
a black background.
until somebody posts catagorically that they found any problems, i would say, assume all is well.
the nbs rip is great, excellent quality video and audio are in sync, no problems and is a full episode has
not been cut and cropped like last weeks...so
you out there who are wondering..... have your answer...

thanks for the upload .....
it better be because the scene rules for 720p were released about 2 days ago
and ctu lead the charge.
pretty much all 720p groups then signed the rules including nbs and it
became scene law i guess you could say. lol now a group could go against
the rules but they will be propered and their release nuked and trust me
at 1.1 gigs for 1 hour show if you get nuked it hurts. (scene sites do not
take kindly to wasting that much bandwidth and disk space. it used to be
that way for 350 meg releases but with hard drive prices so low and band
width increasing so much 350 is not much of an ouch but 1.1 gig still is
and will be for the next few years)
anyway, the final rules do not allow cuts and crops like nbs did last week
so already you see the good ness the rules are bringing 🙂
the rules also state no segment encoding the 2nd pass as well as minimum
quality settings for x264 and much more. the whole idea behind such
strict rules was to stop what happened to the hdtv and hr tv scene which
is now speed over quality and endless propers and repacks and just total
crap releases.
you want to win 720p it is simple. get a dual quad box with 500kb a second
ul speed or more 🙂 (which is pretty much standard now for all 720p groups)
i didn't read the.720p.x264.tv.releasing.standards.2007 yet (where can i find a
copy?) but thats great that they regulate quality settings
so the quality wont vary much from nbs, ctu, saints and other any more.
you need a whole lot more then 500kb/s up to pre a rls on a scene.
its more like several 100mbit to gbits
