Greys Anatomy S03E23 HR HDTV XviD-CTU

i am soooooo confused!! last week i downloaded episode 21. now there appears
to be episodes 22 and 23???
i am in australia so i don't know anything about 2 part episodes etc......
could some kind hearted soul please explain???
oh and what's the story with caph's stuff? (refer comments on previous
download)

yea last night was a two hour special and its 22 & 23

is the sound missing or...?

this file will be just episode 23 (the 2nd of the two episodes that were shown
back to back). the file is 700mb because it is an hr (high-res) release.

i haven't got this file down yet - but the sound is likely to be ac3, so if you
can't hear it, it's probably because you don't have an ac3 codec installed (look
for ac3 filter).

now, i wonder where the hr release for episode 22 is?

oh, and don't use being in australia as an excuse for not knowing about 2 part
episodes. they've shown some shows that way in australia before.

is ivtc not done or something? it\'s a 29.97fps file, and jerky (there are frames
repeated). should be 23.976fps...

anyak: totally agreed. 720p should be the only thing distributed nowadays.

unfortunately though, not everybody has the computers or broadband connections
to play or even download those, so the 350mb and 700mb releases will probably
stick around for a long while.

i would like to see all shows always being released in 720p though. that
shouldn't be out of reach.

ontopic: where's the hr version of episode 22?

reason why 350mb will never be replaced is because the larger the file, the more
likely people will download & split. plus, the increase in video quality is
marginal; it's much quicker to download 350mb vs. 700mb; and frankly i don't
want to wait for the extra time to download an add'l 350mb for the same show
that i will eventually delete once i'm done watching it.

yeah. well... if you're going to delete it anyway... you wouldn't care about the
diskspace occupied. but yeah, i get your point and i'm with you. in the end i
was just saying that it would be really nice if the reliability of 720p releases
would increase. now it's sometimes out, sometimes not. for some shows more
often, for others not so often.

that is the way tv should be watched, and i'll wait an hour or two to get the hr
or hd version instead of the 350mb version. you idiots who want low def make me

--i would agree on behalf of the majority of eztv downloaders that 720p releases
should replace hr and the low res 350mb file.--

on behalf of those of us in countries with crap internet, who would rather
download the low res and not have to pay through the nose for extra data, and
who can only upload at a v low speed and would still like to share the love, i
say piss off.
