which majority are you claiming to speak for? i for one certainly hope they
don't ever stop with 350mb releases. those with slower connections, small hdds,
slow computers, and all host of other reasons rely on the 350mb releases. i
personally don't even see the point in the 720p releases. i downloaded a few
once and couldn't even notice the difference watching them on my laptop.
well, i enjoy 720p for certain shows like heroes, prison break(before), the
unit, and the sopranos. i like the widescreen format and definitely see the
improved quality (i don't understand how you couldn't notice the difference). i
actually get all the shows over my cable subscription, including hbo, but like
many people, do not have an hdtv or an hdtv capable tuner.
i would prefer two different releases, one at a lower quality and one at a 720p
rip. so people would have a choice in the matter. however, if it came down to
choosing one over the other, i would have to take the 44minute-350mb/
22minute-175mb rips over the 720p rips. although it's not as good quality as i
would like, it's still widescreen and it's still higher quality than watching it
on a regular old boring tv.
