but seriously, there have been 720p version out? why are those not on eztv, or
can the 720p ones only be found on private trackers? i would have dled 720p ones
if i found them here.. just like 24 and heroes.

first sign i've seen of one, seems the hd rips are being done off the uk
broadcasts, as the e17/18 rips appeared just after the uk broadcast last week.

is it me, or was the entire 3rd season of bsg a little wacky when it comes to
the pirated releases? 🙂 pdtv versions should be banned from the scene. hr and
hdtv should be standardized fully and 720p should be that nifty little 'extra'
you can download after a while.
i really didn't like watching the pdtv versions. when i have all hr version i
will have to watch the entire season again.
hopefully season 4 will be released properly, but don't get me wrong... i'm
not complaining. any pirated version online is worth a 'thank you', but only
the selected few pirated version are worth true worship.

its well known that bsg became so popular because of piracy and owes its ratings
survival to the spread of the mini-series and first episode online. ever since,
the number of torrent sites and irc servers has only grown.
i find it funny that the show is being re-released, months after the original
set of releases, in a higher quality picture. this means twice the exposure in
the "new releases" section and a first time view to many users for the last
episodes we'll see in a year. i wonder if there will be another effect.
